Wix website evaluation

At the beginning we received a task to create an website on WIX. According to the assumptions, my project is slightly different to this one I had in my sketch. Project is different mostly because technical issues and limitations on wix. In first project I was thinking about adding proper electronic wallet, database, cryptocurrency exchange. 

This is how I designed the website structure at start:

My landing page is divided for four different sections:
  • About
  • Services
  • Our coins
  • Contact
In Services section we are can see that this website having following services: 
  1. OPENPAY which suppose to be an smartphone app to control cryptocurrencies and wallet - this is only theoretical service for purposes of website, 
  2. Altcoins - these are alternative to bitcoin cryptocurrencies,
  3. Bitcoin - first cryptocurrency based on blockchain,
  4. OpenWallet - wallet to store cryptocurrencies made for purposes of website. Again, it was made theoretically only to show how it can possibly look like. It is not working, because of wix limitations.

Second page in the menu is OpenMarket. This is place when is the actual store and all the products are accessible from this page.


Support section on my website contains F.A.Q. section, however, this is not the only support I am providing for my wix website. Also, there is availability of live chat and contact via contact form. The contact form is available on home page and live chat is available on every single site.


The last page on my website is OpenWallet. This page is very theoretical. There is nothing that you can do, as there is many limitations in wix engine. On this page we can see ours wallet address and amount of each cryptocurrency, after we are logged in of course.


Furthermore, I am using different apps from wix store. For security I am using McAfee app, wixstore for store my cryptocurrencies, card app for card payments, live chat, cookies and few more.



Summarising, overall I am satisfied how the website is looking like from the UI site. It is not the best user interface and UX, but with wix limitations I am sure that this site came up well. However, I am feeling disappointed, because I was not able to make openwallet work properly and because of other wix limitations from backend side of website.

Product ordering

To purchase cryptocurrency on my website we have to do following steps: 1. Go to OpenMarket 2. Select cryptocurrency that we are interested in buying 3. Add selected product to basket 4. After we select all the product that we are interested in, we can proceed to see the card 5. To make transaction we have to click one of checkout buttons 6. At this moment we should be able to finalise transaction by writing our card details, however, because I am using free version of wix we are not able to finalise our transaction.

Survey results and analysis + SWOT Analysis

In the last weeks I have created a survey to gather informations, which can potentially give me some ideas about my software and how I can improve it in order to fulfil expectations of potential clients. To analyse all of data gathered I used charts that were generated automatically in the Google Forms and SWOT Analysis of data in charts. In the first part of my survey I am asking respondents about themselves do predict if there are any chances that they are on some higher positions in companies that they are working for. The variation of both higher age and higher education - age 30+ and bachelors level of education and above makes possibilities that the respondent is currently on some higher position. I decided to use this variation instead of asking respondent directly, because I am aware of that maybe not everyone want to share such information with survey even if they are anonymous.
